He will tell the player someone called Dr. Nabanik asked for your help. Dr. Nabanik can be found at the Digsite, east of Varrock. Ali the Wise will give the player a Digsite Amulet to reach Dr. Nabanik.

Talk to Dr. Nabanik at the Digsite Exam Centre. He will reveal he is in fact Azzanadra, a Zarosian Mahjarrat. He needs a certificate to start reconstructing the altar beneath the Digsite.

Talk to the Head Archaeologist in the Exam Centre. After making sure Dr. Nabanik can be trusted, he will give the player a certificate.

Talk to Dr. Nabanik again. He will take the certificate and tell the player to meet him at the altar under the Digsite. The altar may be reached by using a rope on the north-west winch in the Digsite and then selecting 'Operate' on the winch. Dr. Nabanik will provide the player with a rope.

Go to the altar, and talk to Dr. Nabanik (now called Azzanadra) again. Ask him what he needs and you will find out he requires two items:

A Barrows icon, obtained by killing all six Barrows brothers, then looting their chest.
The Frostenhorn, from a cold fortress in the north. You will receive a backpack containing a Battered letter and a Heat orb. You will need these.

Note: Players MUST talk to Azzanadra about each mission, or else neither item will become available to obtain.

Azzanadra's Tasks It doesn't matter which task you do first.

Getting the Barrows icon For more information on how to kill the Barrows brothers, see this page.
Get equipped for a normal run of Barrows. The Barrows are located in the south-east of Morytania, just east of Mort'ton.

First, kill all 5 normal Barrows brothers. Then enter the underground tunnels (reached by the hidden tunnel found in one of the Barrows brothers' graves).

Find your way to the middle of the tunnel system. There you must kill the final brother. Then search the chest and you should get a Barrows icon. Take this back to Azzanadra.

Getting the Frostenhorn Items required:

Tele grab runes,
Hammer (can be looted if you search the crates in the dungeon area).
Go to High level wilderness at the Ice Plateau and just to the west is a castle whose entrance is blocked by a large chunk of ice. NB You can teleport from within this castle as it does not count as part of the Wilderness. Place the Heat orb you obtained from Azzanadra on the pedestal which is just on the south side of the entrance and then "squeeze-past" the ice.

BEWARE!: There are Iron and Steel dragons here, so an anti-dragon shield is greatly advised!

On the south side of the castle is an arched entrance, run through it and climb up stairs.

Run east to the corner of the castle, then climb down those stairs.

Directly above the nearby door is a dip which you can climb, so climb up that wall and run north, then west, and then climb down the damaged wall.

Climb down the trap door into the first level of the dungeon.

Here is the puzzle area, where you must melt some of the ice using Heat orbs on pedestals so that you can continue through the dungeon.

Note: This guide is based on the map pointing North.

Step 1:

Run east, pick up the Heat orb from the Pedestal.
Run west until you're in the middle room again. Use the Heat orb on the pedestal on the left. The ice will melt and spawn a Waterfiend.
Run past where the ice was, then cast Telekinetic grab on the Pedestal you just placed the orb on. You will receive back your orb, but turn the Waterfiend into an Icefiend.
Use the Orb on the pedestal in the room you're trapped in. This will melt the Ice to the stairs, but will spawn another Waterfiend. Go down the stairs.

Step 2:

A player fighting the Ice Demon using Protect from Magic prayer.Pick up the Heat orb found on the floor in the nearby room to the south.
Use it on the Pedestal.
Run East until you find another Pedestal, pick up the Orb, which will give you an Imperfect heat orb.
Run back west and exit the puzzle.
Note: Make sure to pick up all orbs before exiting, to save you some time. The Waterfiends will be gone when you come back, and you will not have to obtain the orbs again.

Step 3:

Once you've left the puzzle, go up the dip where you came down and use the Imperfect orb on the Broken Globeholder lying next to the Pedestal. NOT the Smashed Pedestal.
It will attach, right click it and select "Push". A small cutscene will play.
Go back down into the puzzle and repeat the last three parts of Step 1.

Step 4:

When you make it back down to the Lower dungeon, use an orb on the Pedestal to melt the ice blocking the East path. Follow the path until you come across yet another Pedestal. Take the orb. Go back along the path you just came from and you will see a Pipe on the south side of the wall which looks like a small tunnel on the minimap and not marked as Red on the map. Use the orb on it and it will get stuck. Use the Hammer on it (you can loot one from the crate that is nearby). It will melt the ice blocking the path, but spawn another Waterfiend. Go west again where you found the last orb and then around the u-bend to the east where you will find a ladder. Go up the ladder, run west and you will meet an Ice demon (The demon is weak to crush attacks) You must kill it and it will drop the Frostenhorn.

Finishing up
The Senntisten Temple, fully restored.
Zaros as seen when Azzanadra contacts him.Return to Azzanadra by using teleport runes or the Digsite pendant, who will have finished restoring the altar.

He will tell you that you need to retrieve an item from someone just outside by the winch. Go up the winch and you will meet the Assassin from the Devious Minds quest. Talk to him and he will give you the item Azzanadra wants, the Relic you helped him steal from Entrana.

Go back downstairs and talk to Azzanadra. There will be a cutscene of Azzanadra communicating with Zaros. When the connection between worlds is established, a statue of Zamorak outside the Chaos temple near the Goblin Village gets damaged, probably by Zaros testing how much influence he can have in Gielinor. The local Zamorak monks get angry and blame Saradominists for the damage. Also, the Dark Mage in the Abyss has a problem with his portal and almost "loses the universe".

2 Quest Points
One lamp providing 23,000 experience in any chosen skill. ()
Two lamps providing 20,000 experience in a chosen combat skill (other than prayer)
10,000 Prayer experience
Access to the Altar of Zaros in the Senntisten Temple, located below the Digsite
Access to a new set of prayers, known as the Ancient Curses. Players must read the Ancient Hymnal, given to you by Azzanadra, first.

Runehq: Runescape2 the Original Version of Runescape

Runehq: Runescape2 is one of the original versions of Runescape, which featured solely three dimensional graphics. These new and improved graphics were completely new to the game, which had only been released as of January 4, 2001. This innovation in computer game technology was then promoted by its ever growing, fan-based website, runehq. This site, runehq, branded Runescape as a futuristic and innovative interactive game, which was responsive to its players' needs.

Runehq: Creators (and brothers) Andrew and Paul Gower created Runescape in the UK, and operated out of their parents' house in Nottingham. At first, Runescape utilized both three-dimensional and two-dimensional sprites, yet due to the rapid influx of players, the two brothers decided to give Runescape and overhaul, and in order to fulfill their needs, they formed the company Jagex.

Runehq: From there, Jagex developed an "interpreted domain-specific scripting language" which was called RuneScript. This type of html code was then used by Runescape's server for event handling. As the game developed and improved, Jagex implemented a monthly membership service which introduced additional features including areas (places), quests, items. With the implementation of quests came the need for a players' guide, and thus arose Runehq. Runehq became one of the most important and influential centerpieces in the Runescape movement due to its abundence of Runescape tips; This was one of the features of Jagex's overhaul of runescape, yet as the centerpiece of their update, Jagex introduced Runescape2 (beta version). This new and improved version of Runescape was released on December 1, 2003, only two years after the original release. The beta version ended on March 29, 2004. Although the newer version was considered much more sophisticated and modern, Jagex continued Runescape Classic in a subservient manner. Unfortunately, the classic version had become corrupted due to cheaters, so on January 12, 2006; Jagex banned over 5000 accounts in order to purify the game.

Runehq: Jagex, in its quest to improve its image and increase its brand, signed an exclusive marketing and distribution contract with WildTangent Games. This lucrative deal granted WildTangent the right to "handle advertising in and around RuneScape in the United States". Also, it allowed WildTangent to distribute the new and improved Runescape throughout its network, which reached over 20 million consumer PCs. From then on, Jagex could not be stopped. The company continued to improve Runescape with upgrades such as a "High Detail" mode and a reduction of memory requirements. Also, Runescape was introduced to the Asian market when in October 2009; it was launched in India through the gaming portal Zapak. Lastly, Jagex implemented a new marketing strategy which resulted in a large fan-based site known as runehq.

Runehq: The Basics and Overview

Runehq is basically a help and support website for all Runescape players for when they undeertake runescape quests or creating runescape pures. This site is needed because the computer game, runescape, is a very complicated game and entails subtle nuances throughout. As a result, players of this game require a great amount of help and guidance in order to be successful. It provides both a portal for guidance in almost all of the situations that will be presented to players throughout the game, but also a tool through which they can communicate with each other. Not only does it serve as a guideline, but it also provides step-by-step instructions outlining each runescape quest and on parts of the forum, you can find instructions for creating runescape pures. Lastly, it also provides a monster database from which players can discover runescape monster combat level, fighting experience, loot dropped, and more. Not only that, but it serves all versions of Runescape such as Runescape Classic and Runescape2. Runescape is a very challenging and complicated game, and thus a set of guidelines is needed, runehq.
